🛡️ Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team and ensure that all safety regulations and policies are properly followed on-site. The Safety Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment by implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring work practices.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Conduct daily safety inspections and audits

Prepare and submit safety reports, incident reports, and near-miss records

Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions

Assist in the development of risk assessments and method statements (JSA/RA)

Investigate accidents and recommend corrective/preventive actions

Coordinate with site supervisors and management on safety matters

Maintain safety documentation as per company and legal requirements

Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Act as the first responder during emergencies

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field

NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification (preferred)

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge of local and international HSE standards

Strong communication and reporting skills

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Good command of English (spoken and written)

Valid Safety Officer card/certification as required by site/client
